This project is located in Boulder, Colorado (Pattern altitude = 6,000 ft.), gateway to the Rockies. Mountains that your hosts enjoy and appreciate. Parts of the plane have been to the tops of Colorado's highest peaks, at 40,000 feet and above in commercial and military aircraft, and in distant parts of the world. The work to build a plane is extensive and calls for "enjoying the trip as much as the destination." This site catalogs some of that enjoyment for us.
