And now for the center section...
The Center Section is
defined by the center bulkhead and the bulkhead behind the seats which we
have prepared.
Two different types of
ribs span across this section.
The control column
requires cutting some extra metal out of a few of these ribs. This is
easily done by using a hole saw.

We remove the excess
using the aluminum cutters.
A dremmel is used to
quickly sand down the cuts.
These ribs also had to be
match-drilled to the bottom skin. Note that the end rib (long line of
clecoes) requires a curviture in the rib.
Fluting the edge helps to get
the necessary curve in the rib.

Once the ribs are
fitted, we fit the skins that go on top, These skins provide the "floor"
of the cabin.

With all parts
match-drilled, we now flip the center section back over and proceed to
rivet the ribs to the bottom skin.
