A most unexpected treat – we drove up to the coast of Normandy. Above you are looking at Arromanches. Remnants of bridges out to the ships that once occupied this area linger on the shore.

To the west of Arromanches, we visit Omaha beach. The memorial (not shown) is incredibly beautiful.

Mont Saint Michelle!! A church that one can walk to by day, yet completely surrounded by water at night when the tide comes in.

Lastly our airplane parts make another pass through DIA!
